Velvet Goldmine blu-ray release gets a cover
The Blu-ray release of “Velvet Goldmine” is now available for pre-order on Amazon. And there’s a peek at the new cover art. No word yet on any extra features.
Velvet Goldmine Blu-ray release!
Loinsgate has announced that “Velvet Goldmine” will be released on Blu-ray on December 13. There are no details yet on any extras but this is fantastic news. Let’s hope many of the great extras and original cut from the UK DVD release are put on this Blu-ray release. I still hope one day for a Criterion release of this brilliant film. Just got word that Jonathan has signed on for a part in Woody Allen’s next film. Production starts in July. Miramax has pushed back “B. Monkey” once again for release September 9 of this year. Will it appear before the century is over? I wonder. “Velvet Goldmine” is nominated for 2 BAFTA’s for Best Costume Design and Best Makeup/Hair. It should win both.
