Mission: Impossible III on DVD

The 2-disc special collector’s edition DVD of “Mission: Impossible III” is now available for pre-order through Amazon. You can also pre-order the regular widescreen edition of the DVD. Both come out October 20, 2006. Paramount has announced that the DVD will be released in HD DVD, Blu-ray and the regular DVD format with different features included depending on the format.

Another TV alert! Promotion for “Mission Impossible 3″ is really heating up. Jonathan is set to appear on the View on May 5, the day the movie opens in U.S. theatres. Jonathan was in Rome today for a media press conference and photocall. He also attended the world premiere of “Mission Impossible 3″. Next up are premieres in Paris, London, Mexico City and New York. Jonathan is not scheduled to attend the Los Angeles premiere. Jonathan is expected to attend the London premiere, which is set for April 25...

“Mission: Impossible III” will premiere as part of the Tribeca Film Festival on May 3 at the Ziegfield Theatre. You can view 2 film clips that show Jonny on ComingSoon.net (I’ve Got a Signal and Are You In?). Moviefone also has one exclusive clip from the movie featuring Jonny. And just a reminder that “Match Point” is being released on DVD in the U.S. on April 25.

Premiere for MI3

The Hollywood premiere for “Mission: Impossible III” is scheduled for Thursday, May 4 at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. Arrivals are likely to start between 5 and 6:30 pm. No official word if Jonathan will be attending but it’s highly likely.

The It Boy

Jonathan attended the 100th anniversary celebration for Montblanc last Tuesday, the 14th. And April’s issue of Premiere magazine gives a glimpse of Jonathan’s character in “Mission: Impossible III”. There’s a small photo of him with co-stars and the info that he plays “Declan, a master of disguise and languages.” And they have launched the website for Mission: Impossible III. You can now watch the international trailer for “Mission: Impossible III” online. Jonathan attended last night’s premiere of “Ask the Dust” in NYC. His friend Colin Farrell stars in the film. He also recently attended the debut of Sydney Theatre Company production of “Hedda Gabler” staring Cate Blanchett and Hugo Weaving.
