Coverage from the “Match Point” premiere may appear on various entertainment news programs this evening like Entertainment Tonight. Coming Soon has a very interesting interview with Jonathan and his co-star Scarlett Johansson. And you can enter to win free passes for an advanced screening of the film through L.A. radio station Indie 103.
The Los Angeles premiere of “Match Point” is scheduled for tomorrow evening. Arrivals start at 7:15 pm and the premiere is being held at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) located at 5905 Wilshire Blvd. Jonathan is expected to attend along with director Woody Allen and his co-stars in the film.
Jonathan is on the cover of the December/January issue of British fashion magazine Wonderland. Features a nice interview and photo spread. Reviews and previews of “Match Point” are now starting to appear in various magazines. The film opens on December 28 in New York and Los Angeles with a wider release expected in January. Jonathan is featured in the French magazines Studio, Ciné Live, and L’Officiel for the month of November for promotion of “Match Point”, as the film is now in theatres there. There is also a great interview with Jonathan in the November 6th NY Times. He also has been attending events in Los Angeles. Jonathan attended Blender’s 1st Annual Rock + Roll Hollywood Issue Party on October 27 and was at a book signing party at the Burberry Store in Beverly Hills on November 2.
Dreamworks has finally put up the official trailer for Match Point on their website. This is the US version of the trailer and it looks fantastic!
The French website for Match Point is now online. The film will be released there October 26. You can also view the first look at a trailer for the film (both the dubbed and subtitled versions). The trailer can also be viewed along with a clip from the film at Kino Express (thanks Shelia). Match Point was recently shown during the San Sebastian Film Festival and is set for limited release in the US on December 28.
Quick news to say that “Mission Impossible III” will start production next month. And “Match Point” was picked up for distribution in the US by Dreamworks. They may release the film this fall or winter and it’s already garnering Oscar buzz.
Jonathan attended this year’s Cannes Film Festival to promote Woody Allen’s new film, “Match Point”. It premiered on May 12 to glowing reviews. Jonathan received the Chopard Trophy for his work in the film as outstanding newcomer. He also attended the premiere of the final Star Wars film at Cannes with girlfriend Reena Hammer. Big news! Jonathan is set to be on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on May 2. You can request tickets to attend the taping of this show at Audiences Unlimited. There’s a small inteview with Jonathan in the latest issue of Elle Magazine. CBS has put up a video interview with Jonathan at their Elvis website. In non-Elvis news, the official title for Woody Allen’s project with Jonathan as the star is “Match Point”. It will be screening at next month’s Cannes Film Festival, out of competition.
Jonathan has been popping up in magazines left and right. There’s a great interview between Jonathan and photographer David Bailey (responsible for so many amazing photos of Jonny) in the October issue of Blackbook magazine. And in the October issue of L’Optimum magazine, there is a stunning 8 page photo spread on Jonathan. This is a French magazine so it may be more difficult to find. Lastly, it appears the Woody Allen Summer Project may now have a title: Match Point. It has not been officially confirmed yet though.
