Tudors Premiere

“The Tudors” premiered last night at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood. Jonathan attended looking very happy and dashing. Photos from the premiere and after party will be posted as I gather them up. “Vanity Fair” will released on DVD in the US on February 1. You can preorder it on Amazon.com. Golden Globe nominations were announced today and “The Lion in Winter” got 3 nominations for best mini-series or motion picture made for television, best actress in a mini-series or motion picture made for television for Glenn Close, and best actor in a mini-series or motion picture made for television for Patrick Stewart.

Japanese Magazines

Jonathan was expected to attend yesterday’s Harry Potter premiere in New York City but there’s been no reports if he did indeed turn up. “Vanity Fair” is being mentioned that it may premiere at the Venice Film Festival that runs in early Fall. Like the DVD “Pulse” (“Octane”), the DVD of “The Lion in Winter” will be out July 20. Lots of Movie News

Lots of movie news to report. First up, you can view a trailer for Vanity Fair on Yahoo! Movies. The film is scheduled for a limited release September 1 in the US. It is not playing at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. “The Lion in Winter” will have it’s premiere screening in Los Angeles on May 11 at the Pacific Design Center. No word on what cast members will be in attendance. It will have it’s premiere airing on May 23 on Showtime. Check local listings for all showtimes....

You can now view a trailer for “The Lion in Winter” at the Hallmark Entertainment website. The film is set to air Sunday, May 23 on the Showtime Network. The Tesseract hitting festivals

“Prozac Nation” and “The Lion in Winter” are now out on DVD in Russia. First Look Home Entertainment no longer holds the rights to “The Tesseract” and has pushed back “Octane” for a mid-July release (thanks to Caroline for this new info). “The Tesseract” is making the film festival rounds. Lots of movie news to report. First up, “Prozac Nation” is now out on DVD in Japan. “The Tesseract” will finally be released in Japanese theatres this spring. This time it’s a Hallmark Entertainment produced remake of “The Lion In Winter” that will air on the US cable network Showtime in late 2003.
