Gormenghast

You can read the article from Telegraph online and the “Gormenhast” official site has opened. It’s got great info and bits on this film. You can also order the soundtrack for “Gormenghast” online through HMV.co.uk, where they have “Gormenghast” listed for video release as soon as February of this year (of course in PAL format). Thanks to Laura and Lin for sending along this info. And lastly, apparently, Jonny’s beloved horse Bel has been stolen, according to yesterday’s issue of The Daily Mail. Will try to find out more...

Jonny is on the cover of Radio Times and Telegraph Magazine (which you can see a sneak of to the left), which are both UK publications. It will also been shown in the US on PBS or BBC America, hopefully sometime this year.

This book...

Sneak peek at Titus

Miramax has pushed back “B. Monkey” once again for release September 9 of this year. Will it appear before the century is over? I wonder. “Velvet Goldmine” is nominated for 2 BAFTA’s for Best Costume Design and Best Makeup/Hair. It should win both. Sandy Powell won an Oscar for her work in that other Miramax film, but it was nice she mentioned “VG” in her speech and it was hilarious that Whoppi Goldberg attempted to dress like Brian Slade. At the Independent Spirit Awards, “VG” did win for best...
