Documentary on Gormenghast postponed

The BBC documentary on the making of “Gormenghast” that was to air April 1, was postponed and will air closer to when “Gormenghast” is premiering on BBC America. You can check out BBC America’s new page on “Gormenghast” that lists all the scheduled air dates so far (thanks Charmaine). Check out this cool site on beautiful boys in eyeliner. more on the Versace show

More details on the modeling show where Jonny introduced the Versace collection. It was a modeling charity benefit show called the Brown Thomas International Fashion Show at the Pointe Depot. All proceeds went to the Chernobyl Childrens Project headed by Bono’s wife, Ali Hewson. (Thanks Rebecca…) Also finally found out official word on when “Gormenghast” is set to premiere in the US. B. Monkey out on DVD

You can pre-order “B. Monkey” on DVD through reel.com for only $17.99. It’s coming out March 21st (thanks to Laura for sending this info along). Fox Searchlight’s site for Titus is fully up and running. Check it out for some clips from the film. You’ll need flash to view the site. Lastly, Jonny is not going to do “Johnny Domino”. He was offered the part but decided not to do it. And is still on the look out for his next project.

B. Monkey release date

“B. Monkey” is FINALLY going to be released in select theatres in New York and Los Angeles September 10th. At least that’s what Miramax is saying now. You can click on the ad to the left to view the official Miramax website. Jonathan’s tentative next project hopefully starts filming in October in Ireland, titled “Rake’s Progress”.

Sneak peek at Titus

Miramax has pushed back “B. Monkey” once again for release September 9 of this year. Will it appear before the century is over? I wonder. “Velvet Goldmine” is nominated for 2 BAFTA’s for Best Costume Design and Best Makeup/Hair. It should win both. Sandy Powell won an Oscar for her work in that other Miramax film, but it was nice she mentioned “VG” in her speech and it was hilarious that Whoppi Goldberg attempted to dress like Brian Slade. Miramax has FINALLY put up their “B.Monkey” page and listed it as coming soon. You can download the trailer from there. Miramax has it listed to open in New York and Los Angeles tomorrow in select theaters.

Model or not?

Jonathan was set to model in the New York Versace show, but missed his flight to NY. Instead he’s been in Ireland getting ready to film his next movie after spending time back in Rome for reshoots and additional shooting for “Titus”. Miramax has not listed or done any press for “B. Monkey” so no word on when or if this film will be released. Over at Young Hollywood.com, Jonathan has been picked as one of the most promising new faces of 1998.

Lots of Jonny News

Visit E! Online to see their feature on Johnny. B.Monkey is set for release Feb. 26 – let’s see if that happens. The Loss of Sexual Innocence debuted at the 1999 Sundance Film Festival. It is set to be released on May 21. Nice date. Check out the Sundance Channel page on the film.
