“Albert Nobbs” is being released on DVD and Blu-ray on May 15. They are both available for preorder on Amazon. The Blu-ray release will contain an audio commentary and deleted scenes. Albert Nobbs official website & release dates

The official website for “Albert Nobbs” is finally up! You can view images, the trailer, and learn more information about the film. Two new images from the site have been added to the Gallery. A limited run of the film to qualify for the Academy Awards begins December 21 in New York City and December 23 in Los Angeles. It will open wider on January 27 in the US. It will also openi in Australia this month and across Europe starting in February.

From IndieWire comes the good news that “Albert Nobbs” has been acquired for distribution by Liddell Entertainment and Roadside Attractions. Albert Nobbs finally confirmed and a go!

Filming on “Albert Nobbs” is set to begin this Monday in Dublin, Ireland. Glenn Close herself has confirmed that Jonathan will indeed be in the film in a small role.
