Possible new project?

From Bootstrap Films (thanks to Shelia for the find) comes word about a possible new project for Jonathan: Following on the success of the short film, WHAT IF, the project is currently being developed into a feature film. More on the GQ Awards

You can watch Jonathan’s acceptance speech at the GQ Men of the Year awards on YouTube thanks to Silverhawk (he appears at 3:12 into the video). The October issue of UK GQ magazine has interviews with all of the Men of Year winners. You can also view video and interviews from the red carpet on GQ’s website (there’s a brief glimpse of Jonny in the beginning and his short interview is at 3:36 into the video). Update: YouTube has unfortunately pulled the video that was posted.

Another version of Alexander?

According to BBC News, Oliver Stone plans to release another version of “Alexander” on DVD. There currently are versions of the theatrical release and a director’s cut. Now Stone says he will release a version of the film with a running time of 3 hours and 40 minutes. Stone told BBC One’s Breakfast “this thing has haunted me”. “By truncating it into three hours, we lost things that were important. This version allows you to immerse yourself in the classical world.” No release date has been announced yet.

FashionTribes has a preview of the Hugo Boss ad campaign featuring Jonathan and this to say: Starting in December, sex god Jonathan Rhys Meyers – who most recently appeared opposite Scarlett Johansson in Woody Allen’s latest, Match Point – will be the face of the P&G-owned Hugo Boss.
