There are pix of Jonny from “Velvet Goldmine” in Film Review magazine #23 and the July-August issue of Film Comment magazine. There is a small picture of Jonny with co-star Minnie Driver from “The Governess”, which looks to be released soon in a limited number of theaters, in the August issue of Harper’s Bazaar magazine. Jonny’s long hair in Cannes was fake – hair extensions. My instincts that someone could not grow hair that fast proved right… he still looked the ‘part’ in promoting the glam rock flick “Velvet Goldmine”, didn’t he? Velvet Goldmine wins

“Velvet Goldmine” will be released in the US this coming November. And it won a Special Jury Prize for Artistic Contribution at Cannes. Velvet Goldmine a hit at Cannes

“Velvet Goldmine” premiered at Cannes on May 22 to critical acclaim. Jonathan is over at Cannes and had this to say: “The film is about a freshness and a spring, because the 1970s was a liberal time.
