Cable awards recognition
While Jonathan got no love from the Emmy Awards, he was recognized for his work on “The Tudors” by the 2nd annual CableFAX Program Awards. The CableFAX Program Awards are devoted to cable’s top shows, people, and entertainment icons. They are scheduled to be held in New York City on September 16, 2009. Jonathan was nominated in the category Best Actor in Cable. “The Tudors” was also nominated for Best Show or Series: Drama.

61st Primetime Emmy Award nominations were announced this morning. “The Tudors” received 5 nominations, including for casting yet no acting recognition again unfortunately.
