Albert Nobbs official website & release dates

The official website for “Albert Nobbs” is finally up! You can view images, the trailer, and learn more information about the film. Two new images from the site have been added to the Gallery.

A limited run of the film to qualify for the Academy Awards begins December 21 in New York City and December 23 in Los Angeles. It will open wider on January 27 in the US. It will also openi in Australia this month and across Europe starting in February.

Redesigned JRMfansite is live!

After months of fiddling, the newly redesigned JRMfansite is now up!

Thanks for your patience as I worked on fixing various features and templates throughout. There are still some very minor things left to tweak, but overall the site is ready to go! I’d recommend Chrome to view the site but it should work in most major browsers.

One new feature is the availability of a mobile theme. You can turn this on or off at the bottom of the page when using a mobile device to browse the site. And you may have already seen this on twitter, but there’s now a tumblr that you can follow for the JRMfansite.

Please let me know what you think and if you encounter any errors. I hope you like the new look of the JRMfansite! Hard to believe, but just around the corner is this site’s 14 year anniversary. And it’s still going strong thanks to all of you long time and new fans!

Added first image of Jonathan on the set of “Albert Nobbs” from earlier in the year to the Gallery. Be sure to click through to view the larger version. It’s still unknown what his role in the film is apart from it being a small one. Jonathan is pictured with one of the young Irish actors who also worked on the film. More images with other actors on the set in Dublin can be found on Talented Kids.

Banana Films has posted the first publicity stills from “Belle du Seigneur”. The 3 new stills were added to the Gallery.

Filming is reportedly started in locations around Italy, Geneva, and Luxembourg. Casting calls for extras have gone out for some location shoots.

Jonny attends Fashion’s Night Out

After a long break from the spotlight, Jonathan has made an appearance! Jonathan, with Reena by his side, attended the Giorgio Armani kick-off party for the big Fashion’s Night Out event last night in London. From the London Evening Standard:

Jonathan Rhys Meyers dropped by to see Armani, despite him being the face of rival Hugo Boss. “Giorgio is an incredible designer,” he said. “I don’t spend a lot of time at these kind of things so it’s rare that I’ll dress up for something. I’m usually at home doing chores.”

Shelter UK DVD release

“Shelter” is now out on DVD and Blu-ray in the UK (sorry for the late posting on this news.) Extras include interviews with Julianne Moore, Jonathan and the films directors.
