Tudors wins an IFTA!
While Jonathan didn’t win for Best Actor at the Irish Film and Television Awards over the weekend, “The Tudors” did win Best Drama Series/Soap. Also winning from the show were Joan Bergin for Best Costume Design and Tom McInerney and Dee Corcoran for Best Make Up & Hair. Congratulations to all the winners!
I am so glad the Tudors won, omg I am so excited! I was just hoping Jonny will something. He was just so amazing in the whole production. I just luv Jonny
Love him! Great actor! Need to see more of him in film please!
Delighted that the Tudors got the long time recognition, but still…..the person that made it was Jonathan in his very impressive and outstanding role as Henry.
Well done Jonathan 😀
He sure deserved the award, its a shame he didn’t get it ;(
LOVE YOU LOTS & LOTS & LOTS JRM!
p.s. it’s awesome how the Tudors won. And Joan is so amazing with the outfits and everything.
So sad The Tudors has now come to an end, hope to see Jonathan in more films, dramas, think he should work in Theatre also. Glad The Tudors won an award but I think Jonathan should have won Best Actor for his outstanding performances in series 1 – 4.
So glad Tudors won an award, it’s the best show I have seen in ages and Jonny was amazing and so hot. He should of got an award for best actor. I hope he carries on his career for many years – a great talent and it would be criminal to lose a hot man like him from the tv and film world. Wish you all the best Jonny! Keep smiling and being you. We love you how you are, a true star, a little daring and little troubled but great all the same. xxx
Be well again John, I admire and respect you so much as an actor. You are so talented. You were brilliant as Henry. I will pray that you value your talent and your precious self more, so that you are able to share your wonderful gifts with the world. Just need to give you a hug. xxoo
Congratulations to all the winners! Jonathan should have won the award also, he’s such an incredibly gifted actor, musician, even dancer, a real renaissance man!
The young man has me captivated for his work THE TUDOR’S.
If anyone out there has the brains and money, do a sequel of some kind. To hell with typecasting, Jonathan was born to play Henry, notwithstanding all elements that made for many memorable shows that will entertain viewers for years to come!!!
JONATHAN RHYS-MEYERS, THANK YOU!!!
