
Irish Awards nominations announced!
For the fourth year in a row, Jonathan has again received a nomination for Actor in a Lead Role for “The Tudors” from the Irish Film & Television Academy. He won in 2008 for his first season playing King Henry. This is now his last opportunity to be honored for his work in “The Tudors” for the final season.
Co-star Sarah Bolger received a nomination for Actress in a Supporting Role. Also nominated from “The Tudors” are Joan Bergin for Custom Design, Tom McInerney and Dee Corcoran for Make Up & Hair, Tom Conroy for Production Design, and Drama Series.
The 8th Annual Irish Film & Television Awards are taking place on February 12th and will be broadcast live on Irish TV.

Really happy for Jonny and hope he wins this time. I’ve really enjoyed watching him as Henry Tudor, thought he gave a remarkable performance that will be remembered for decades to come.

Wow…outstanding performance by JRM in the Tudors. His superb acting made one believe to be part of the royals and the 1500’s. I learned much about history through the Tudors. Best of health, love, and happines to you Jonny. Kudos to all the Tudor Cast and Michael Hirst…a totally breathless show!

His role in “The Tudors” as King Henry was nothing less than genius.
I watched all the episodes in one day on Netflix. Other actors in this series were totally perfect in every way. I loved, loved, loved it!!!
